"Striker" is pictured above at 2 years old finishing his championship entirely from the bred by exhibitor class! He is finally starting to fill out. He is a BIG dog, so it has taken a while for him to mature. He moves very clean for a big dog and has an especially nice front and wide chest and nice feet. He has that "look" that is not often seen any more, like some of the old Goshen dogs. He could help bring some size and leg back into Akitas which is something lacking in the breed today. Click here to see his sister "Keeper" . They both are named from our love of the game soccer (Futbol!). Our daughter Courtney has played since she was in first grade. A striker is the name for the offensive forward in the game. He reminds us a lot of his grandma Dazey from whom he gets his nice height. Striker has a gentle temperament and is my house dog and best buddy.
