Valiant's Take the Shot ![]()
"Striker" is pictured above at almost 2 years old (July 2008 - not groomed, just fluffed). Pictures taken by my daughter Courtney (great job!). At 13 months old at his 2nd weekend out he won back to back 4 point dog majors from the bred-by-exhibitor class! This young dog is just phenominal and we have very high hopes for him. He has excellent size (27") and is already showing good bone and a wide chest at a young age. I think when he matures he will be really nice! He moves absolutely CLEAN in the front and rear. He has a very nice front, excellent chest width but with no elbowing out or loose pasterns and nice, tight feet. He has a very nice rear too with nice, moderate angulation (I didn't stack it in the front picture though). Very level topline, small dark eyes. I will get him finished eventually but he is taking a back seat to Courtney's soccer games on a lot of weekends so it is tough for us to get to shows. Click here to see his sister "Keeper" . They both are named from our love of the game soccer (Futbol!). Our daughter Courtney has played since she was in first grade. A striker is the name for the offensive forward in the game. He reminds us a lot of his grandma Dazey and also his awesome daddy Soco. I LOVE this dog, he is my best buddy and is so sweet though maybe too soft at times he is a bit of a big weenie! Very gentle and not dog aggressive and great with kids and lets small dogs and puppies beat up on him unmercifully! Pictured below are thumbnail pictures of Striker; click to enlarge. Thank you Celine Garmon for the photo of Striker in the sweeps class. We think it shows his nice height. Thank you Madelyn Goss for the nice sweeps photo from the rear it is awesome!
